Drum Circles have been exploding in popularity and can now be found in large and small cities across America. I first discovered group drumming in 9th grade and since have been a performer, composer, conductor, and now a facilitator of the art.
My Drum Circles are primarily for non-drummers. They are done in the Arthur Hull tradition, the father of the modern Drum Circle. This activity allows participants the ability to actually feel and make music as a group. It creates a sense of connectedness with self and others while promoting the experience of being in resonance with the natural rhythms of life. Research studies indicate the healing effects of drumming include boosting the immune system and the reduction of tension, anxiety, and stress. I provide (and own) all the drums and percussion instruments needed for up to 70 people at a time. It's perfect for corporate team building, a community event, a family reunion, etc. If you're group is looking for something unique, interesting and fun, try my Drum Circle. You can't go wrong! |
